Cunard has been sailing for over 180 years. In 1840, Britannia set sail on the very first Cunard transatlantic voyage. Fast forward to 2024 when a new queen, Queen Anne, joins the iconic fleet alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.
Carving the way for ocean travel, Cunard continues to enhance the cruising experience for its guests by offering the choice of open dining. After successful trials, open dining has been made available across Cunard’s fleet for those booked in a Britannia Stateroom or above. This applies to voyages departing on Monday the 3rd of October 2022 aboard Queen Elizabeth, Sunday the 23rd of October 2022 aboard Queen Victoria and Tuesday the 1st Of November 2022 aboard Queen Mary 2.
Open dining will be available from 6 pm to 9 pm and reservations can be made via the My Voyage app. Alternatively, guests can arrive at their restaurant of choice and wait for a table to become available.
Alongside the introduction of open dining, Britannia Club guests will now enjoy priority embarkation and disembarkation, complimentary mineral water, sumptuous bath robes and speciality coffee with their own espresso coffee machine. Cunard believes that these luxurious indulgences, and the ability to choose when you dine, are the future of cruising.
