A guide to Emerald Cruises’ loyalty programme, EmeraldEXPLORER

Did you know that you can be rewarded for your loyalty if you sail with the same cruise line time and time again?

Many of our cruise line partners offer reward programmes based on the number of nights sailed, like Emerald Cruises and Emerald Yacht Cruises, which have EmeraldEXPLORER.

In this guide, we’ll explain how EmeraldEXPLORER works and provide details on the three different tiers. 

Every night you spend onboard an Emerald Cruises or Emerald Yacht Cruises voyage, you’re earning points. These points increase over time and allow you to be rewarded in a variety of ways.

First, let’s take a look at how EmeraldEXPLORER works: 

Upon returning from your first cruise, whether it’s with Emerald Cruises or Emerald Yacht Cruises, you’ll automatically become a member of the EmeraldEXPLORER loyalty club. This enrolment entitles you to exclusive benefits, including savings on future cruises, advance notice of new itineraries, and much more. 

The structure is not only designed to recognise your time spent with Emerald Cruises and Emerald Yacht Cruises but also how much you spend. So, the higher the category of your suite, the more points you’ll receive per day. 

For every subsequent cruise you take, you’ll earn additional EmeraldEXPLORER points. 

EmeraldEXPLORER has three tiers: EmeraldEXPLORER Silver, EmeraldEXPLORER Gold and EmeraldEXPLORER Diamond. 

The three tiers at a glance: 

• EmeraldEXPLORER Silver: 0 to 4,999 EmeraldEXPLORER points 
• EmeraldEXPLORER Gold: 5,000 EmeraldEXPLORER points 
• EmeraldEXPLORER Diamond: 10,000 EmeraldEXPLORER points  

You have earned up to 4,999 EmeraldEXPLORER points.

• A Welcome Home voucher to the value of £200 per person
• Exclusive members-only savings and offers 
• Advance notice of brochure releases 
• A copy of the EmeraldEXPLORER magazine 
• Invitations to Emerald Cruises’ events 

You have earned over 5,000 EmeraldEXPLORER points.

• A Welcome Home voucher to the value of £250 per person 
• Exclusive members-only savings and offers
• Advance notice of brochure releases
• A copy of the EmeraldEXPLORER magazine
• Invitations to Emerald Cruises’ events 

You have earned over 10,000 EmeraldEXPLORER points. 

• A Welcome Home voucher to the value of £350 per person sent as part of a Welcome Home package

• Invitations to Emerald Cruises’ events 

You’ll earn EmeraldEXPLORER points based on which suite or stateroom you choose. See the tables below for a full breakdown of the accommodation options onboard: 

You can earn up to 190 points for each day of accommodation you enjoy onboard Emerald Cruises’ award-winning Europe river cruise ships. 

You can earn up to 150 points for each day of accommodation you enjoy aboard Emerald Cruises’ South East Asia river cruise ship, Emerald Harmony. 

You can earn up to 190 points for each day of accommodation you enjoy aboard Emerald Yacht Cruises luxury yachts, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara.
