JARRYDS

90 Regent Road, Sea Point, Cape Town, 8005

Famous for its pancakes, JARRYDS is heralded as the best breakfast spot in Cape Town. The all-day brunch spot and bistro, which is set in the courtyard of a boutique hotel in Sea Point, only uses the freshest ingredients, free-range eggs and some of the best coffee in town. Its warm and homely atmosphere attracts many hopeful diners, but tables are first come, first serve, which means you may have to wait a while for your stack of pancakes. But believe us when we say they’ll be worth it!

Loading Bay

“You are what you eat, and it starts from the source” is the motto behind the uber-cool Loading Bay. A go-to spot for breakfast lovers, Loading Bay takes an organic-only approach to food, meaning each ingredient is taken from the ground to the plate with no intervention. The breakfast menu is available all day and has everything from mashed avocado on toasted sourdough to croque monsieur.  There’s plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and those that are gluten-free so everyone is certain to leave full and happy.

Our Local

Located inside an antique store and glasshouse nursery, Our Local focuses on a food experience that brings people together in a unique environment. The team has curated an impressive selection of antiques that surround you as you dine, so you may just find yourself walking out with something unique and unexpected. Our Local’s shakshuka is legendary - it’s green and made with spinach, edamame beans and eggs. The menu changes frequently, though, so make sure to ask the team what they recommend for each season.
