Celebrity Constellation is undergoing a bold refurbishment
Published on 17 May 2017
Celebrity Cruises’ Millennium Class ship Celebrity Constellation is in the process of a two-week drydock as she undergoes a bold refresh. Emerging on Friday the 26th of May 2017, the refurbishment will see the addition of two new restaurants, state-of-the-art technology enhancements, even sweeter suits and iconic venues - offering guests everything they could want from the modern luxury experience.
Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, said of the exciting new enhancements: “We are continually pushing the boundaries of the cruise experience, so we are adding some incredible new features to Celebrity Constellation. In addition to introducing the ever-popular restaurant Qsine, we are launching an entirely new culinary experience, Top Deck Burger Bar. On top of that, we’re also incredibly excited about the addition of our Rooftop Terrace and the iconic Taste of Film experience.”
So, what can you expect from the newly-revitalised Celebrity Constellation?
There will be three new culinary experiences for guests to enjoy - two of which are currently on other ships within the fleet and have proved popular. The first is a brand-new venue - originally introduced onboard Celebrity Constellation.
The Top Deck Burger Bar is situated on the pool deck and is a casual eatery where guests can enjoy a wide range of mouth-watering burgers, with an extensive menu of toppings and condiments. From the Celebrity Signature Burger to the BYOB (Build Your Own Burger) and The Deep End (fresh tuna burger), there’s something in a bun to suit every taste.
One of the fleet’s most unique and popular restaurants, Qsine arrives at Celebrity Constellation. From the inventive twists on favourite dishes to the iPad menus - everything in Qsine is uniquely unordinary. Replacing the Ocean Liners Restaurant, following a complete renovation of the space, guests can expect to embark on a gastronomic adventure.
The Rooftop Terrace, currently on the rest of the fleet’s Millennium Class ships (Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Summit) will also be added to Celebrity Constellation. Intimate and inviting, the relaxing space features chic, cosy furniture and surprising artistic elements, as well as a large outdoor soundscape and movie screen. The Rooftop Terrace is also home to the iconic gastronomic adventure A Taste of Film - a unique fusion of film and food.
Guests will discover some of the top names in fashion and merchandise in a completely revitalised shopping area and once guests have refreshed their wardrobes, there’s the option to visit The Studio, Celebrity Cruises’ high-end portrait studio which is ideal for capturing memorable holiday photos.
Now guests don’t need to insert their room card as they enter their stateroom or suite - simply tap the room card on the door lock and the room is automatically unlocked. It’s the room’s way of saying “Welcome back!” when returning after enjoying the onboard amenities while at sea or spending time ashore.
