Cunard reveals the first phase of the 2026 Events Voyages programme

The exceptional entertainment aboard Cunard’s ships is just one of the many reasons the cruise line remains a firm favourite amongst guests. Its celebrated Event Voyages invite guests to sail alongside some of the world’s leading talents – from wellness experts to stars of the arts and entertainment world. These exclusive itineraries often feature captivating performances and rare theatrical experiences designed to inspire and delight. Curated in partnership with renowned names across creative industries, Cunard’s Event Voyages are a true celebration of culture at sea. The luxury cruise line has now offered a first look at its eagerly awaited 2026 programme. The full programme will be launched in two phases, and this first announcement excitingly welcomes back several Cunard favourites to the iconic flagship, Queen Mary 2, and the newest ship in the fleet, Queen Anne.
Cunard’s Event Voyages are specially designed with guests in mind. In a bid to immerse cruisers in the things they hold most dear to their hearts, the cruise line hosts a range of unforgettable experiences, such as exclusive performances and hands-on workshops with world-famous performers and experts from around the globe.
Cunard has announced five 7-night itineraries from May to November 2026. These comprise:
London Theatre at Sea with the Olivier Awards
Queen Mary 2 - Departing 22nd May 2026
This voyage, specially curated by Julian Bird OBE, features outstanding performances from an illustrious line-up of theatre talent. Enjoy a peek behind the scenes where you will be let in on the secret of putting on a world-class show. You’ll also be able to participate in unique daytime events and be captivated by special evening shows throughout your voyage. This special Transatlantic Crossing culminates in an extraordinary performance – The Oliviers in Concert. Sit back and prepare to be awe-struck as the orchestra and cast take you back through the history of the prestigious Olivier Awards in an incredible, one-off production.
Sail4th250 Celebrations
Queen Mary 2 - Departing 3rd July 2026
In 2026, North America will celebrate 250 years of independence – and to mark this historic milestone, Cunard will take part in an extraordinary celebration in partnership with Sail4th250. For over 185 years, Cunard has been a pioneer of Transatlantic Crossings, forging a deep-rooted connection with the United States. The cruise line takes immense pride in its rich maritime heritage and longstanding ties across the Atlantic. So, it’s only fitting that Queen Mary 2 will join this special event.
Wellness at Sea, in partnership with Harper’s Bazaar
Queen Anne - Departing 5th July 2026
Set against the serene beauty of the Norwegian fjords, this unique wellness voyage aboard Queen Anne offers the perfect escape to rest, recharge, and reawaken the senses. Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in a carefully curated programme led by renowned health and wellbeing experts – including editors from Harper’s Bazaar. Be immersed in a world of classical music brought to you by eminent maestro Anthony Inglis and the UK’s National Symphony Orchestra. With two unforgettable evening performances in the Royal Court Theatre, this sailing is one classical music lovers won’t want to miss.
Literature Festival at Sea, in partnership with Cheltenham Literature Festival
Queen Mary 2 - Departing 29th November 2026
Find yourself in a literary haven, surrounded by esteemed authors, journalists, historians, and fellow book lovers, on this seven-night sailing dedicated to the power of storytelling. Curated by The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival teams, this unique voyage celebrates the written word in its many forms – with intimate Q&A sessions, themed events, and intimate book signings.
