P&O Cruises announce naming ceremony for Arvia

P&O Cruises recently announced it is planning a world-first for the naming ceremony of their brand-new spectacular sunshine ship, Arvia. On Thursday 16th March 2023, the cruise line will host a beachside ceremony in Barbados to mark the historic event.

Star-studded entertainment featuring some of Britain's most popular performers and presenters will create what promises to be an unforgettable show. For the first time ever, P&O Cruises will broadcast the whole show live, so you can dress up, get together with family and friends, and enjoy it all from the comfort of your own home.

P&O Cruises’ president, Paul Ludlow, said "Arvia will spend her first season sailing in the Caribbean in 2023, so it's fitting that we mark her naming in one of our favourite ports of call. This event will showcase our extraordinary new ship and the beauty of Barbados and will include some very special surprises."
