ROL Cruise raises £3,000 for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal

ROL Cruise, the UK’s No.1 Independent Cruise Specialist, has raised £3,000 for the Royal British Legion’s 2020 Poppy Appeal. They committed to pledging a donation to the appeal’s fundraising total during November; a cause that the business has been supporting for several years.

All net Poppy Appeal income raised goes into the Royal British Legion Benevolent Fund, which provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community - serving men and women, veterans and their families and dependants who are in need. Commenting on the donation, Sarah Wikevand, Managing Director at ROL Cruise, said: “while 2020 has been a challenging year for the travel industry, we are committed to continuing supporting the causes that are important to us.

“We are therefore delighted to have raised an incredible sum for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal this year. We are proud to continue supporting the Royal British Legion, having donated over recent years; we hope the amount raised will make a difference in supporting the Armed Forces community.”
