Seabourn has announced Seabourn Venture’s godmother will be renowned business expert, keynote speaker, polar explorer and mountaineer, Alison Levine.
Alison has survived extreme environments. She is an expert climber having climbed the highest peaks on each continent and in 2002, she led the team of the first American Woman’s Everest Expedition.
“I’m thrilled to be representing a company that embodies what the true adventure and expedition spirit is all about,” she said. Author of the New York Times bestseller, On the Edge, Alison writes of leadership with insights garnered on her many expeditions and how to use the skills she has learnt through her travel experiences in business. Alison has also shared her insights and ventures on Seabourn Conversations, where guests of Seabourn inspire and relay their experiences.

Seabourn Venture will set sail for her inaugural voyage on the 15th of July 2022. She is the cruise line’s first expedition vessel and has been designed with custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs and double sea kayaks. She will provide an immersive experience in some of the world’s harshest environments.
