Avid cruisers have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Scenic Eclipse - the luxury discovery yacht from the award-winning Scenic Ocean Cruises. Tipped to be the world’s most luxurious cruise ship, Scenic Eclipse will be unveiled in January 2019, complete with its own helicopter and submarine to give guests the ultimate cruise experience. Its sister ship, Scenic Eclipse II, is due to be unveiled in 2020. As well as world-class staterooms and suites and 10 exceptional restaurants, Scenic Eclipse features a 7-seat submarine which will take guests on the adventure of a lifetime. The sub will plunge into the cold waters of the Arctic and Antarctica to give people a tour beneath the ice. Scenic Eclipse will also have a fleet of exploratory kayaks, snowshoes and electric bikes to allow guests to fully experience their destinations. The ship’s own helicopter will also offer once-in-a-lifetime journeys flying low over dramatic cliffs and landscapes, from the craggy mountains of Scotland to the wilderness of South America. 

Scenic Eclipse is the first ocean cruise ship from Scenic Ocean Cruises and will feature 114 suites, each with a private veranda and lounge area. You can expect the most comfortable king-sized bed, a sleek lounge area and your very own outdoor space to watch the world go by. Choose from a 32-metre square Verandah Suite, or even a 247-metre square 2-bedroom Penthouse Suite for the ultimate luxury cruise experience. Guests can take advantage of personal butler service and 24-hour in-suite dining to truly enjoy and appreciate their suites. 

With 10 dining spaces onboard, you’re guaranteed to find a remarkable range of dishes and cuisines. Whether you’re in the mood for casual or fine dining, Scenic Eclipse has got you covered but you’ll never have to compromise on the decor. The ship’s chic, contemporary style runs throughout from the dining spaces and reception areas right through to the deck. There are 8 bars and lounges to explore, including an intimate Champagne Bar and the Azure Bar & Cafe, where you can indulge in a plate of oysters with a crisp glass of white wine.
