Wander through the city’s historical center and take in its charming atmosphere, narrow alleyways flanked by old houses and countless breweries. No matter how you choose to explore Old Town, you’ll also have ample free time to explore on your own. A special Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner will be prepared for you this evening.

See Strasbourg on foot with an insightful local expert, where this historic town with its cobbled lanes, half-timbered homes, giant stork nests and impossible-to-resist pastry shops will win your heart. Kehl, directly across the river from Strasbourg, will be your ship’s base while you explore the Alsatian capital. If you’re feeling adventurous, take advantage of Uniworld’s bicycles or Nordic walking sticks and explore the banks of the river. You have the entire afternoon to see more of Strasbourg on your own.

Breisach is your gateway to the Alsatian wine road and your launching point for an excursion along the celebrated Route des Vins, which hugs the foothills of the Vosges mountain range, or a city tour of Freiburg. Europe and Russia sailings: The European standard 220 volts with a 110v outlet in every stateroom and suite. ROL Cruise recommends taking an adapter plug with you.
Egypt and Peru sailings: Voltage is 220V/50HZ on board the ship and in hotels. You will need a three-pin adapter and possibly a voltage converter.
India sailings: Voltage is 220V/50HZ on board the ship and in hotels. On board the ship outlets that accommodate both 110V and 220V appliances are available in the suites. In the hotels you will need a three-pin adapter and possibly a voltage converter.
Vietnam and Cambodia: Voltage is 220V/50HZ on board the ship and in hotels. On board the ship outlets that accommodate both 110V and 220V appliances are available in the suites. On shore, comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
Clothing will be determined by the climate and shore excursions. Please be advised that some shore excursions will visit temples or holy sites – guests will need to cover their shoulders and knees.

Egypt sailings: Complimentary house wine, local beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are served during lunch and dinner on board.
India sailings: Complimentary house wine, local beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be served throughout the cruise.
Peru sailings: Complimentary house wine, local beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be served on board between 6am and 11pm throughout the cruise.
Vietnam and Cambodia sailings: Complimentary house wine, local beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be served throughout the cruise.
There are no accessible cabins on board, however all stateroom/suites have showers with handrails.
Uniworld can cater for most dietary requirements, please inform your ROL Cruise consultant of any dietary needs or allergies in advance so Uniworld can accommodate your needs.
Wi-Fi is complimentary on most sailings to Europe but cannot be guaranteed. It is not available on select Europe sailings, Egypt, India, Russia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mekong or Peru sailings.
Due to limited space on board, guests are permitted to bring one suitcase and 1 carry on, excess luggage will be subject to an excess baggage charge. If you are flying, you will need to check with the airline as they will have their own luggage restrictions.
Gratuities are included for on board personnel. You may wish to tip ground staff, this is at your discretion.
