Accommodations
Ambition offers a range of cabins spanning six accommodation decks.
Inside Cabins provide a cosy space without windows, perfect for those who prefer to spend their time exploring the ship. Standard, Superior and Premium Inside Cabins offer flexible bed configurations (twin or double) with some rooms accommodating up to four guests. All inside cabins include en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, flat-screen TVs, personal safes, USB ports and UK three-pin electrical sockets.
Ideal for guests who want a window to the sea, Ocean View Cabins offer partial or full ocean views depending on the category (Standard, Superior or Premium). Along with all the amenities of Inside Cabins, Ocean View Cabins feature large picture windows or portholes. Premium Ocean View options provide even more space and can accommodate additional guests.
Balcony Cabins offer the luxury of a private balcony where you can enjoy the ocean breeze and stunning views. Located in prime areas of the ship, Premium Balcony Cabins include a double bed (convertible to twins), a private furnished balcony and a sofa bed for extra guests. Other amenities include a mini-fridge and a more spacious layout compared to Ocean View and Inside Cabins.
The most spacious and luxurious accommodation on Ambition, Suites are perfect for those seeking extra comfort and added perks. Junior Suites include a separate lounge area, double or twin beds and a sofa bed for extra guests. Added features like a minibar and upgraded bathroom facilities elevate the experience. Premium Suites boast expansive living areas and walk-in wardrobes and can accommodate up to four guests. You can also enjoy upgraded furnishings and added privacy. The pinnacle of luxury, the De Luxe Suites include separate bedrooms, a larger lounge area and exclusive perks like priority embarkation and complimentary treats. They also feature upgraded linens and access to premium services.
Activities
Enjoy a variety of daytime activities on Ambition. Shop ‘til you drop at the Shopping Galleria on Deck 5. This onboard shopping area offers a selection of duty-free items, including luxury goods, souvenirs and essentials. If you’re feeling creative, head over to Grafton Street on Deck 5, the ship’s arts and crafts hub, where you can join fun workshops and hands-on activities. Capture your favourite moments by visiting the Photo Gallery, where you can view and purchase professional photos from your trip.
For card enthusiasts, Aces & Eights on Deck 6 is the perfect spot to enjoy a game of bridge or poker in a cosy setting. Book lovers will love Bronte’s Libray, a peaceful space to relax with a good read. If you’re looking for a venue for meetings or small events, the No.10 Conference Room on Deck 6 is fully equipped for everything from private gatherings to engaging lectures.
Entertainment
Find yourself mesmerised by the variety of entertainment onboard Ambition.
The Palladium on Decks 5 and 6 is the ship’s main show lounge, hosting a range of performances, including live shows, musical acts and plays. Here, you can expect high-quality performances, including the unique show The Chronicles of a Pirate King, which marries traditional storytelling with a vibrant modern musical soundscape, featuring elements like a daring zip line across the stage and a show-stopping sword fight.
Inspired by the iconic Liverpool club, The Cavern is a major social hub on Ambition. Situated on Deck 7, it hosts a variety of entertainment, from live music and tribute acts to late-night DJ sessions, providing a vibrant atmosphere for guests to unwind and socialise.
Food & Drink
You’ll find a mouthwatering array of complimentary and speciality dining options onboard Ambition.
Located on Deck 5, Buckingham Restaurant is the main dining option onboard. You can head here for breakfast and lunch on an open-seating basis, whereas dinner is spread across two sittings, one for early birds and the other for late diners. On the menu, you can expect British favourites like fish and chips and cottage pie, and on formal nights (of which there are usually two during a seven-night sailing), you will be treated to an old-school Baked Alaska parade. Holyrood Restaurant, which is exclusive to suite passengers, opens daily for dinner with two sittings. The menu mirrors that of the Buckingham Restaurant, featuring a variety of dishes that blend traditional British cuisine with international flavours. You can expect a sophisticated dining experience with attentive service in a refined atmosphere.
Borough Market is Ambition’s casual dining experience, where flavours from around the world come together. The buffet-style restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves British classics like fish and chips at the Salt & Vinegar station, Asian cuisine at the Points East station and vegan food at the Graze n Grains station. Scone lovers will be impressed to see afternoon tea served here daily with a choice of sandwiches, sweet and savoury scones and plenty of cakes. Located just outside Borough Market on Deck 11, Al Fresco Grill is the perfect place for a light bite. You can choose from pizza, hot dogs, burgers and chips. As it is situated on the Lido Deck, it’s an ideal spot for those wanting to indulge in a snack in between relaxing on a sun lounger and dipping in and out of the pool.
You’ll have three speciality restaurants to choose from. Described by Ambassador Cruise Line as the ‘ultimate onboard culinary experience,’ Chef’s Table is a VIP multi-course dining experience specially created and hosted by the Executive Chef. Served in a private area of Buckingham Restaurant on Deck 5, the Chef’s Table experience begins with a glass of fizz and an amuse-bouche before heading down for a tour of the ship’s galley. The Chef’s Table hosts a minimum of 10 guests. The menu at Saffron, meticulously handcrafted by Ambition’s Executive Chef, allows guests to discover and enjoy the tastes, sights and flavours of South Asia. The journey begins with an herb-infused cleansing drink, followed by a starter, a main and a dessert, which is usually served alongside chai tea. Throughout your meal, the Saffron team will talk you through each dish, how it was prepared and how best to enjoy it. Lupino’s on Deck 11 is a Mediterranean-style restaurant. It was established in memory of Michelle Lupino, a cherished Ambassador Cruise Line team member who sadly passed away in 2022. The restaurant offers a relaxed, al fresco atmosphere, serving a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including fresh salads and mezze platters.
Unwind in a variety of bars and lounges on Ambition. On Deck 5, you’ll find Pendennis Bar and Purple Turtle Wine Bar. Pendennis Bar is an elegant venue that serves as the perfect spot for pre- and post-theatre drinks. Embodying a quintessentially British charm, Purple Turtle Wine Bar offers an extensive selection of wines in a cosy and inviting atmosphere. A stylish cocktail lounge featuring live classical music, the Clifton Lounge on Deck 6 is an oasis of calm with peaceful tan and copper tones, making it the perfect place for a pre-or post-dinner cocktail. Overlooking the reception area, The Angel Bar offers a serene environment in which to enjoy a variety of beverages, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and socialising. Conveniently located poolside, The Pool Bar serves refreshing drinks, allowing guests to soak up the sun while enjoying their favourite beverages. Positioned to offer panoramic views, the Consulate Bar provides a tranquil setting to unwind with a selection of drinks, perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Relaxation & Fitness
Feel rejuvenated with a range of relaxation and fitness facilities onboard.
Located on Deck 11, the Green Sea Spa offers a serene retreat to rejuvenate both body and mind. In the individual treatment rooms, experience personalised therapies, including soothing deep tissue massages and revitalising facials tailored to your needs, in the sauna and steam rooms, detoxify and unwind in a calming space and in the hair salon, refresh your look with professional haircuts and styling services.
Also, on Deck 11, you’ll find the Active Studio & Gym. The gym is equipped with running machines and cross-trainers, as well as weight-lifting equipment. You can choose from a range of complimentary classes, like Early Morning Stretch and Yoga and spin classes.
If you prefer to work out in the open air, the Jogger’s & Walker’s Track on Deck 12 provides a designated area for jogging and walking. This allows you to enjoy exercise alongside panoramic ocean views. Finally, there are two swimming pools to choose from: two mains pools on Deck 11 and a splash pool on Deck 12.
