Spirit of Discovery boasts a plethora of luxury cabins, with a balcony for every guest. Taking their design cues from some of London’s top hotels, each cabin has been styled to showcase the best in contemporary yet classic British design.
Split into three categories; Standard, Deluxe and Suite, you’re certain to find a cabin to suit your needs. All Standard accommodations feature a twin/king-size bed, bedside tables, a writing desk/dressing table, a coffee table, comfortable chairs, a safe, British plug sockets with USB outlets, a television, a mini bar and tea and coffee-making facilities as well as marble bathrooms with showers, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries, robes and slippers. Spirit of Adventure’s Deluxe cabins benefit from the addition of walk-in wardrobes, more outdoor space and fresh fruit baskets while Suites feature even more amenities including butler service, bathrooms with both showers and whirlpool baths, daily newspapers and a selection of magazines, a continental breakfast morning wake-up tray, exclusive in-cabin dining experiences, an espresso machine, in-cabin afternoon tea service, fresh flowers and a customised minibar.

Spirit of Discovery has a fantastic choice of beautifully designed restaurants. Choose from The Club by Jools, East to West, Coast to Coast all located on Deck 6, The Grand Dining Room on Deck 5, The Grill and The Verandah on Deck 12.
The Grand Dining Room is a classic venue perfect for indulging in authentic flavours from around the world with the finest a la carte cuisine. Open seating is available here so you can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner without a reservation. Keep an afternoon free for the grand afternoon tea held here daily, we highly recommend it!
For a dining experience with a twist, take a trip to The Club by Jools. A 1950’s style supper lounge, The Club has been created in partnership with music legend, Jools Holland. Here, you can savour cocktails and indulge in fine cuisine all while listening to live music. On select voyages, Jools Holland and his band perform live.
For a more casual dining experience, The Verandah and The Grill is the perfect option. At lunch, there is a delicious buffet on offer with a wide variety of options and at night, you can enjoy freshly prepared dishes. Dine here alfresco and watch the sunset, experience a romantic meal under the stars or witness a culinary theatre performance at the show kitchen, where you can watch as your meal is created by one of the expertly skilled chefs.
Fancy an evening infused with oriental delight? Book a table at East to West, an Asian-inspired speciality restaurant located on the Promenade Deck. Here, you can indulge in the flavours of the Orient and enjoy traditional authentic favourites along with contemporary dishes with a twist. The menu at East to West changes regularly, so you may have to visit more than once - what a shame!
Spirit of Discovery’s second speciality restaurant is Coast to Coast which is also located on the Promenade Deck. This succulent eatery offers the freshest flavours of the sea using locally sourced seafood as well as traditional British dishes.
Entertainment
Life on board Spirit of Discovery can be as action-packed or as peaceful as you like. The beautifully decorated Britannia Lounge on Deck 12, is the hub of the ship. A multi-purpose venue, it hosts inspiring guest speakers alongside spectacular scenery and in the evening transforms into a lively showroom with dancing and live performances. Each evening there are two shows with singers, musicians and lecturers.
The Living Room, located on the Main Deck, Deck 5, is a vibrant venue. The perfect spot to grab a coffee and pastry in the morning, unwind with a tempting after-dinner cocktail in the evening or party the night away as it transforms into a champagne bar.
The Playhouse, located on the Promenade Deck, Deck 6, is the place to be dazzled following a delicious dinner at East to West or Coast to Coast. This spectacular atrium houses raked seating for 444 guests and is this place to watch spectacular performances every evening including live music, guest entertainers, cinema screenings and much, much more.
There are plenty of areas to head for peace and quiet on Spirit of Discovery. Located on E Deck, Deck 7, you’ll find the library which offers an extensive selection of fiction and reference books. Perhaps you could read up on your next port of call, browse the internet or stay in touch with family and friends. Hidden here is an open kitchen area where you can help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee and homemade cake.
Want to indulge yourself in the ultimate pampering experience? Spirit of Discovery’s serene spa is located on the Main Deck, Deck 5 and is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring ashore. Here, you’ll find an inviting hydrotherapy pool, steam room, infrared sauna and five private areas for a rejuvenating treatment.
