What is the dress code onboard a Celebrity Cruise?

The majority of Celebrity Cruises sailings require casual attire during the day and smart casual attire in the evenings. For formal nights, Evening Chic is required. Evening Chic is sophisticated but still relaxed. For women, this could be a cocktail dress, skirt or smart jeans paired with a top and for men, this could be trousers or dark jeans paired with a button-down shirt and blazer. Please note: Evening Chic nights are optional and the dress code will only be enforced in the Main Dining Room. On sailings of 6 nights or less, there will be only 1 Evening Chic night and on sailings of 7 nights or more, there will be at least 2 Evening Chic nights.

What is a Celebrity SeaPass?

Celebrity SeaPass is an identification card for reboarding the ship in various ports of call. It is also the key to your stateroom and the Charge Card for your onboard purchases.

What currency is used onboard Celebrity Cruises?

The currency onboard is US Dollars.

Is room service available with Celebrity Cruises?

Yes, room service is available 24 hours a day. Simply order from the room service menu located in your stateroom.

How do I pay for onboard purchases with Celebrity Cruises?

Celebrity Cruises ships operate on a cashless system. All you need to do is validate your Celebrity SeaPass account with an acceptable credit card at the cruise check-in desk or during online check-in. Then you can assign all onboard purchases to your account. At the end of your cruise, you’ll receive an itemised statement. Please note: all items onboard are priced in US Dollars.

Do I need to pay for gratuities with Celebrity Cruises?

Yes, gratuities are required. However, you can choose to opt-out when on board.

Can I take alcohol onboard a Celebrity Cruise?

With the exception of two bottles of wine at embarkation, guests cannot take alcohol on their Celebrity Cruises cruise. Should guests consume their two bottles of wine in a public area, they will be subject to a corkage fee.

Can I smoke onboard a Celebrity Cruise?

Celebrity Cruises have designated smoking areas onboard.

Can I access the internet while onboard a Celebrity Cruise?

Basic Wi-Fi and Premium Wi-Fi services are available onboard at an additional charge. Suite guests and All-Included package offerings include this charge. The Basic Wi-Fi Package allows you to browse the web, send emails and text family and friends via select messaging apps. The Premium Wi-Fi Package puts internet streaming at your fingertips throughout your cruise. You can message or video chat with your friends and family, browse the web, send emails even with larger files attached, post on social media as well as enjoy videos, movies, shows and music on your favourite streaming apps.

Are drinks packages available with Celebrity Cruises?

Yes, Celebrity Cruises offers different drinks packages allowing you to personalise your time on board. 

If you have chosen an 'All Included' package when booking you will receive the Celebrity Cruises Classic Drink Package. This includes unlimited drinks, such as beer, spirits, cocktails, wine by the glass (up to $10), soft drinks, premium coffees, teas and more. 

Those booked in Suites will receive the Premium Package included in the price of their cruise. In the Premium Package, you get all the benefits of a Classic Drinks Package plus more.

Other packages Celebrity offers include a Soda Package, a Premium Bottled Water Package and a Wines by the Bottle Package.

The Offer applies to eligible bookings made between 3rd September until 8pm 7th November 2024  on sailings departing 4th September 2024 until 7th May 2026, offer excludes Galapagos sailings and 2024 Alaska cruise tours. The second guest must be sharing the same stateroom as the first guests on the reservation within the same stateroom. The cruise fare discount for the second guest will be based on the fare that the first guest pays and can vary between 60% and 70%, excluding any add-ons & amenities including, without limitation, gratuities, air fares, hotels, transfers, pre-cruise & onboard purchases – which will not be discounted as part of the Offer.

The offer, valid on new bookings only made between 1st until 8pm 7th November 2024. On board spend is tiered depending on grade booked. $100 per stateroom on Inside & Oceanview staterooms | $200 per stateroom on Balcony or higher category staterooms. The Guests’ onboard account will be credited with the applicable onboard credit. The onboard credit has no cash value, cannot be used in an onboard casino, is non-transferable, is nonredeemable for cash, and will expire if not used by 10:00pm on the final night of the cruise. Eligible Single occupancy bookings in a double occupancy stateroom within the offer and sailing period will receive the same per stateroom onboard credit as double occupancy bookings. Offer excludes Galapagos cruises. Further T&Cs apply.
