Today you’ll explore the city of Bucharest, with a guided tour of the city by coach. Travel from the south of Bucharest to Primaverii Palace, stopping to see its squares, including Union Square, University Square, Roman Square, Victory Square and Charles de Gaulle Square.
Later, travel to Giurgiu where you will be personally welcomed on board your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship. (B,L,D)
Freechoice - Explore Bucharest and learn about its communist past, including a visit to Ceausescu’s Spring Palace. Or, tour the Village Open Air Museum and discover ethnography exhibits depicting Romanian heritage and culture.

Freechoice - Enjoy an in-depth tour of Belgrade, including a visit to Tito’s Memorial, or take an orientation tour of Belgrade and see the highlights before time at leisure to wander this fascinating city. Alternatively, join a bicycle ride along the Danube, or take a walk through the city with a local. Alternatively, journey to the nearby town of Sremski Karlovci.
Enrich - Visit the largest orthodox temple in the Balkans, St. Sava and enjoy a choir performance in the Temple Crypt. (B,L,D)

Yes, Scenic cruises do have a flexible cancellation policy. Scenic is allowing you to either defer your travel plans or transfer to an alternative Scenic sailing up to 60 days prior to departure for your 2022, 2023, or 2024 travel plans.
Scenic cruises cancellation fees will be waived and you will receive a refund of monies paid in form of a Future Cruise Credit to use on a future Scenic river cruise.
This policy is applicable across all Scenic’s European and Southeast Asia river cruises (excludes Russia sailings).

There are designated complimentary tea and coffee making facilities throughout the ship. Complimentary alcoholic premium wine, beer and spirits are available all day every day as well as complimentary premium soft drinks.
Each suite has a complimentary mini bar with alcohol, soft drinks and snacks re-stocked daily with your preferences.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available onboard but cannot be guaranteed.
All tipping and gratuities are included in your cruise fare.
Smoking is permitted in designated outside areas, it is NOT permitted in the Suites or any inside areas.
Scenic can cater for most dietary needs and intolerances but these are request only and advance notice will need to be given.
There is a buffet style breakfast and lunch available onboard. In the evening there is an array of à la carte dining options from casual to fine dining made with local produce.
The dress code is comfortable and casual onboard, with dinner attire being smart casual, dresses, shirt and trousers.
It is recommended that you pack a comfortable pair of walking shoes, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves so you can be prepared for any weather. If you are travelling in summertime do not forget your sunscreen.
The currency onboard for most destinations is the Euro. There are a few countries that have retained their own currency: Switzerland, Eastern European States and the Scandinavian nations.
All the staff onboard speak English, and the announcements are also in English.
The majority of excursions and tours are included in your cruise, however there are some optional tours that incur a supplement.
