View Cruise DealIn France, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bordeaux is not only famous for its amazing museums and churches but also for its wine. Any foodie will know that this spectacular region is the wine capital of the world, with several classifications ensuring that the wine remains of the very highest quality. Needless to say, the region offers the perfect opportunity to take part in wine-tasting tours. Aside from its reputation as a wine-lovers dream, Bordeaux is also the world’s largest urban World Heritage site as well as straddling the beautiful Garonne River, which itself offers an abundance of riches from the riverside. The Stone Bridge, complete with 17 arches, crosses the river and offers exceptional views over the docks and harbour, whilst old Bordeaux can be explored with a stroll through the Triangle d’Or and Place des Quinconces, France’s largest public square.
Toulouse is an essential stop-off in the heart of the southwest of France. Once the capital of the Visigoths and now the capital of the air and space industry, Toulouse invites you to explore its 2,000 years of history. Here, a Roman basilica, there, a discrete mansion house with an imposing doorway, further on, a converted industrial building, a facade with astonishing terracotta decor, the murmur of a fountain, a hidden courtyard - let yourself be guided through quarters that blend history and modernity.
Spain’s Bossòst is a small Pyrenean village and municipality located in Val d’Aran. Surrounded by very mountainous terrain and covered in black pine tree forests, Bossòst has been a summer destination since the early 20th century due to its proximity to the Bagnères-de-Luchon spa in France. It is currently one of the valley’s most important shopping and tourism locations.
