Life Onboard Arvia

Accommodations

Arvia’s Inside cabins are the perfect choice if you plan to spend most of your time enjoying the ship and exploring destinations. Inside cabins come with a daily steward service and handy amenities like air conditioning, a phone, a hair dryer, a safe and a desk with a chair. You’ll also have tea and coffee-making facilities, toiletries from The White Company and a television with free comedy, movies, news and documentaries. If you love natural light and a view, Sea View cabins are a great choice. They feature all the same amenities as an Inside cabin but with the added bonus of a window or a porthole. This means you can enjoy natural light and take in a new view every morning.

Opt for a Balcony cabin, and you’ll enjoy a private space to relax and feel connected to the sea. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet breakfast, sunbathing with a book or watching the sunset, your balcony offers the perfect spot. For added luxury, consider a Deluxe Balcony cabin, where you can also enjoy outdoor meals or drinks with friends.

Conservatory Mini-Suites are exclusive to Iona and Arvia. They offer all the perks of a Mini-Suite and feature a conservatory-style room that extends your cabin, giving you a flexible space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This room, with its comfortable L-shaped seating, can be open or closed depending on the time of day. In the morning, you can keep it closed for a peaceful coffee while watching the ocean. During the day, it can be fully opened to connect to the balcony, offering a cool, shaded spot to relax. And in the evenings, it’s perfect for private gatherings or drinks with friends and family.

If you’d like even more space and extra luxury, opt for one of Arvia’s Suites. From champagne and chocolates upon arrival to complimentary bathrobes and slippers, you’ll enjoy plenty of exclusive perks. You’ll get VIP treatment from the start, with priority check-in and boarding (when sailing from Southampton), plus a welcome reception with drinks and snacks. Your Suite also includes the option of a butler to make your trip effortless, handling tasks like unpacking, booking shore excursions, making dinner reservations and more.

Activities

On board Arvia, you can enjoy a wide range of activities.

Arvia offers an exciting shopping experience, with a wide range of stores featuring well-known brands and exclusive items. You’ll discover new, unique brands and sustainable collections from top names, as well as eco-friendly exclusive items. There are also opportunities for personalised shopping, like creating custom jewellery or personalising accessories. Arvia also celebrates British design, offering collections on fashion, beauty, and well-being.

For something more active, try the golf nets, where you can practice your swing or join in with deck games like shuffleboards or quoits. There are also educational workshops and talks for those who want to learn something new. The SkyDome, which debuted on Iona, is a large glass structure on Decks 16 and 17 that offers natural light and ocean views. During the day, it’s a relaxing spot to lounge by the pool, enjoy casual dining or watch live performances. By night, the SkyDome transforms into an entertainment hub with aerial shows, live music and parties.

Unique to Arvia is the Altitude Skywalk & Minigolf on Deck 19. Perfect your putt at Altitude Minigolf, a tropical island-themed minigolf adventure, cool off and splash around at Altitude Splash Valley, an aqua zone with ocean views, brave the dizzying heights of P&O Cruises’ first-ever high ropes experience, Altitude Skywalk, or play football, basketball, short tennis or cricket at the Sports Arena.

Entertainment

One for the film buffs, Ocean Studios on Deck 6 offers a warm welcome, comfortable seating and a relaxing environment in which to be entertained and enjoy a premium cinema experience. Four cinema screens show both classics and recent blockbusters in surround sound. Right next door, you’ll find the first-ever escape room at sea, Mission Control. Mission Control is P&O Cruises’ very first multi-sensory escape room experience. You’ll board the fictional submarine Arvia II to tackle a series of live-action puzzles during an exhilarating underwater adventure. You’ll have two storylines to choose from (one for all ages and the other designed for adults) - will you be able to crack the code?

SkyDome is one of Arvia’s star attractions. Set on Decks 16 and 17 and featuring an impressive roof and a pool with a retractable stage, it offers a unique space, whatever the weather and time of day. By day, it’s the perfect place for relaxation and informal dining, with a swimming pool, whirlpool spa, poolside features and shaded seating areas. At night, it comes alive with aerial performances, immersive shows and deck parties. Expect shows like I Believe in a Thing Called Rock, Ignite and Creativiva: Masters of Daring.

For the evening, Headliners Theatre on Decks 6 and 7 is perfect for a fun-filled night out onboard. Classic yet contemporary, it offers a sleek and sophisticated theatre experience. A two-deck-high auditorium ensures everyone has the best view in the house. During the day, enjoy matinee performances and activities, and when night falls, prepare for full-scale productions, like The Official Take That Musical, Greatest Days, to hit the stage. Written by Olivier Award-winning writer Tim Firth, the talented Headliners Theatre Company brings the heartwarming show to life.

The Club House on Deck 8 is a lively and versatile space that buzzes with activity throughout the day and night. Bright and spacious, it hosts various daytime entertainment, including guest speakers and family game shows. In the evenings, the atmosphere shifts as it becomes a vibrant late-night venue. The resident band, PULSE, keeps the energy high with live music in a modern lounge setting.

Food & Drink

When it comes to food and drink, Arvia boasts a huge variety of 30 bars and restaurants.

There are eight complimentary restaurants on Arvia. Meridian Restaurant on Deck 6 and Zenith Restaurant on Deck 7 are the two main dining options. Meridian Restaurant is an elegant dining option that offers panoramic wake views thanks to its impressive floor-to-ceiling windows. You can take advantage of P&O Cruises Freedom Dining here, which allows you to eat whenever you want. Zenith Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea daily. Once a week, the two main dining options host a Celebration Night with a menu created by chef, restauranteur and P&O Cruises Food Hero Marco Pierre White.

Exclusive to Arvia, 6th Street Diner is an all-American diner with a distinctive 1950s style. The menu here features tasty Southern fare from sticky pork ribs to BBQ-glazed flat iron chicken. There are even a few all-day breakfast options, which makes 6th Street Diner a great place to start your day. The Olive Grove on Deck 6 welcomes guests to taste their way around the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean with authentic dishes and delicious sharing platters. Spanish paella and Moroccan lamb tagines are firm favourites here, but you can expect a whole host of mouthwatering Mediterranean dishes.

On Deck 8, you’ll find The Quays, a multi-venue dining piazza with an array of eateries. Roast Carvery makes it a unique option - think reinvented classic Sunday roasts with a range of roasted meats cooked to perfection and served with all the traditional trimmings.

Deck 16 is home to Horizon Restaurant, Taste 360 and The Chef’s Table. The spacious, elegant and relaxed Horizon Restaurant is a one-stop shop for all things delicious. You’ll find plenty of choices here, with food from home and food from around the world available to suit every appetite and dietary need. Whatever you fancy, whatever time of day, Horizon Restaurant will have it. On selected Celebration Nights, a dedicated area of Horizon Restaurant becomes The Chef’s Table. Serving a menu exclusively created by P&O Cruises’ Food Heroes, you’ll have the opportunity to feast on creations by Marco Pierre White and enjoy perfectly paired wines expertly recommended by Olly Smith. Taste 360 is one of Arvia’s signature venues. Offering a street food style dining experience, dishes here are created by various Food Heroes depending on where the ship is sailing.

There are seven speciality dining options on Arvia.

The Limelight Club on Deck 6 of Arvia is an intimate supper club. A sumptuous three-course meal is served alongside dazzling entertainment. Acts on the bill change from sailing to sailing. Headed up by award-winning wine expert Olly Smith and Local Food Hero José Pizarro, The Glass House on Deck 7 is a wine and tapas joint that boasts a prime spot in the Grand Atrium. Sit back with a glass of specially selected wine as daring aerial artists perform before your very eyes. Take your taste buds on a journey over land and sea at Green & Co, Feat Mizuhana, Arvia’s plant-based restaurant. A sushi bar sits alongside the main restaurant (that’s the Mizuhana part), and you sit and watch expert sushi chefs at work before tucking into their delicate creations.

Also on Deck 8, The Keel and Cow is a popular gastropub. Serving authentic fare at breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Keel and Cow offers different cuts of steak alongside chunky chips, battered onion rings and mushrooms. However, the most popular dish is the Prime Minister Burger, which comes with a side of fries and garlic mayo. A little further along Deck 8, you’ll find Sindhu. Showcasing a menu that is a triumph of perfectly balanced spices, delicate flavours, and wonderful aromas, Sindhu blends contemporary Indian fusion food with a British twist. In opulent surroundings, expert chefs take you on a delicately spiced odyssey with an excellent and varied menu.

On Deck 16, you’ll find The Beach House. Dishing up Southern American and Caribbean cuisine, The Beach House is where Food Hero Shivi Ramoutar showcases hearty dishes and comfort food favourites. Located in the Horizon Restaurant, The Beach House is a relaxed dining option and a firm favourite amongst families.

Dining experiences don’t come any finer than Epicurean, where classic British ingredients are given a modern twist. You’re certain to be wowed as each exquisite dish is presented at your table. The experience is complete with fine wines, flawless service, elegant surroundings and stunning ocean views.

Arvia boasts a vibrant selection of bars that cater to various tastes and preferences.

Crow’s Nest is a peaceful spot on Deck 17, offering amazing ocean views. During the day, it’s a quiet place to relax with a cocktail and a good book. In the evening, it becomes a stylish lounge with live piano music and smooth vocals, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night out. Anderson’s on Deck 6 has a relaxed atmosphere during the day and becomes more lively in the evenings. The bar offers a special gin menu with unique gin tastings, as well as a variety of other drinks. Opposite Anderson’s Bar, you’ll find The 710 Club. A cosy, stylish venue with a relaxed vibe, The 710 Club offers live music with a vintage feel, great cocktails and a chance to unwind. Guests can enjoy the atmosphere while listening to new performers and the resident band’s engaging performances. A firm favourite among P&O Cruises passengers, Brodie’s on Deck 7 is a laid-back but lively bar with a wide variety of beers, ciders and real ales. You’ll also find a great selection of drinks on tap, a well-stocked wine list and tasty British bar snacks. In the heart of Arvia’s Grand Atrium on Deck 6, you’ll find the Amber Lounge. Here, guests can enjoy Caribbean-inspired cocktails like the unique Golden Tide and the popular Tortuga Cobbler. The atmosphere is lively, with live entertainment adding to the fun, making it a memorable experience for everyone.
