For a modern look at Penang’s culture, George Town is a must-visit. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has a history-rich architecture and also plays host to a collection of Lithuanian street artist Ernest Zacharevic’s contemporary wall murals – ‘Children on a Bicycle’ is particularly popular - as well as humorous wrought iron caricatures dotted around the area.
