In accordance with legislation, only alcohol purchased onboard can be consumed onboard and any purchases of alcohol made whilst ashore will be securely stored by the ship crew until the end of your cruise. There is no limit on Duty-Free goods when you’re returning to the UK from an EU country so long as it's for your own personal use.
You can relax and eat what you want and when you want on most ships. You will be spoilt for choice with the variety of restaurants with flexible serving times. You will receive a cruise card at check-in which you can charge for all purchases (refreshments, beauty treatments etc.). You will be required to settle your account before disembarking. Payment is usually accepted by all major credit and debit cards and cash.

Yes. A family cruise needs to be fun for everyone and toddlers to teenagers can look forward to a variety of activities onboard most ships. Many children’s programmes are offered for specific age groups. Shipboard attire ranges from casual to formal. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime aboard the ship or ashore and consists of standard sports outfits as worn at 5-star resorts. Evening attire falls into 3 categories; casual, informal and formal.

The number of formal nights will depend on the duration of your cruise.

A cruise of 4 – 7 nights will have one formal night.
A cruise of 8 – 11 nights will have two formal nights.
A cruise of 12 – 21 nights will have three formal nights on board.
Formal attire will be required in all restaurants on your SAGA cruise, except in The Grill on Formal nights.
For ladies’ appropriate formal attire includes an evening gown, cocktail dress, or a dress suit.
For gentlemen, appropriate formal attire includes a suit with a tie or a dinner jacket with a bow tie.
For those who do not want to participate in formal nights, evening-casual attire can be worn in The Grill, The Playhouse Theatre, and all bars.
Yes. During the day, casual wear is appropriate for daytime both onboard and ashore. Casual wear consists of jeans, shorts, t-shirts and tennis shoes. After 6 pm, Elegant Casual is required. For ladies, this includes a skirt or slacks with a blouse or jumper, a pantsuit or dress; trousers and a collared shirt for gentlemen. Casual wear is not to be worn at dinner, except dining at the Pool Grill and on the final evening of the cruise.
